Brian J. Williams

At the December 1 2015 Black Hawk County Board of Supervisors Meeting, Brian J. Williams was appointed as the Black Hawk County Attorney. 

Brian began his career in the Black Hawk County Attorney’s Office a little over nine (9) years ago.  During his time within this office, he has been an assistant assigned to aggravated and serious misdemeanor cases and has worked his way up to Felony Prosecution.  HIs most recent work in the felony division includes armed robberies, sexual assaults and crimes of violence and murder.  His most recent work in the Felony Division centers around crimes of violence, murder, and sexual assault.

Brian has been a trusted and dedicated assistant in this office. Mr. Williams is an excellent trial attorney and very knowledgeable about the law.  Brian has earned the trust and respect of the judiciary, but more importantly, earned the trust, respect and confidence of the staff in the office. This is an extremely busy office and Brian has the energy, enthusiasm and knowledge to do an outstanding job.
